I got MARRIED

....hence the lack of jewelry making and blogging! So thats my excuse and Im sticking to it!!!!

So I havent posted in a really long time! This isnt shocking though. I may never be a fantastic blogger BUT I'll keep trying! So I just completed my very last semester at ASU. It was exciting and sad all at the same time. For 2 1/2 years the metals program has been such a huge part of my life and the people in it are AMAZING. I think I'll feel a little lost without that enviroment in my life but I know that this new start in my life will be an adventure too! I decided to kick it off I'd do a HOLIDAY jewelry sale on my own! Its last minute so I'm not sure how it will do yet but I'm excited to try!!!

Cub Scouts!

This workshop with these boys was such a fun experiance! With our professor we helped the scouts earn arrow point awards by etching little copper name plates and key chains. They didnt have time to see the etching process because they were so thorough with their designs and there were some paticularly popular designs and wording (there were alot of "hey dude" and "peace" and after they saw Bens example some pretty rad skulls)! They all turned out really nice. To see more pics go here!

2nd Fridays on Main St.

So I just found out a month ago that Mesa does 2nd Fridays on Main St, so I signed up for June, and it's pretty cool. There are 60-70 artists, vendors, and band. There is a theme and most of the shops stay open late. And its been going on since 2008. I lucked out and it was a beautiful cool and breezy night still not very busy though I think that not alot of people know about it or thought it be to warm to go out. I had a blast though my family and friends came to help me set up and hung out with me. I met some really fun, and saw some quite interesting, people.

So...apparently the whole night everyone of the pictures of me look goofy because I didnt know they were being taken but I put them in because they are pretty funny. I like Kristins face in this one.

Buh Buh Buuuuuuh! Finals!

So I'm at my second to last semester and finals are in sight! I have 4 pieces due next Tuesday (2 because I procrastinated) I finally finished 2 of them after an all nighter last night. I will be posting pics as soon as the craziness is over!

Ahhhhh!

I have less than 2 weeks of school left! Its so overwhelming! Prolly shouldnt have procrastinated so many things! Well...I have been somewhat productive last week I shot pictures for my portfolio which I submitted to the school of art for graduation...I really like how most of them turned out

Tiny blue bird for Beada

This little guy is one of the newest editions to the blue bird collection and he is FANTASTIC. Measuring 3/4" (2cm) and on a 24" (about 60cm) this little guy wants to fly to a new home in New Zealand
